Overview:
WPO is seeking a qualified and experienced EAP Counsellor for a 6-month contract to provide virtual counselling services to employees of client organizations. This is a full-time remote opportunity for professionals passionate about holistic mental health and workplace wellbeing.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate counselling experience
- Active membership with a reputable professional Association/Society in India
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Experience with trauma, critical incidents, and diverse populations
- Training and presentation skills
- Familiarity with EAP frameworks and experience with legal/HR teams preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide integrated EAP services: intake, assessment, triage, short-term counselling, referral, and crisis intervention
- Deliver 1-on-1 and group counselling sessions to employees
- Conduct training sessions and Critical Incident support
- Maintain high standards of ethical, therapeutic, and legal service delivery
- Ensure thorough clinical documentation in digital systems
- Make clinical recommendations based on assessments
- Offer consultative support to managers as needed
- Engage in strategic and programmatic activities assigned by Clinical Management
