Job Description: IIIT-Delhi is hiring a Counselling Psychologist on a contractual basis to join the Well-Being Cell. The role involves providing individual and group counseling, conducting assessments, supporting students’ mental and emotional health, and leading awareness initiatives for the IIIT-Delhi community.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services
- Conduct psychometric assessments
- Offer support for academic, personal, and emotional challenges
- Design and supervise student-led mental health programs
- Collaborate with staff and faculty for student well-being
- Plan and execute mental health campaigns and workshops
Duration: Initially 5 years (contractual), extendable as per institute norms
Eligibility Criteria:
- Post-Graduate in Psychology or Social Work with specialization in Clinical Psychology/Counseling Psychotherapy (minimum 55%)
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Desirable:
- Work experience in educational/research institutes/health clinics
- Computer application proficiency
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Preferred Degree: Master’s Degree or P.G. Diploma in Counseling Psychology
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in academic institutions with similar responsibilities
- Handling high caseloads and young adult concerns
- Conducting family counseling and group therapy
- Designing and supervising student programs
- Leading wellness awareness campaigns
Age Limit: 40 years (as per 2024 recruitment rules; relaxation as per GoI norms)
Salary/Stipend: Pay Level 10 (as per RPR–2024 for non-teaching staff)
