Job Description:
The Nanihi Center is a dedicated mental health destination committed to serving students, patients, families, and the wider community. As part of our mission to innovate, teach, and serve, we are looking for a Senior Psychotherapist / Couples Therapist to join our team as a consultant.

Position Type: Consultant (Flexible schedule)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and couples therapy, addressing a wide range of complex emotional and relational issues
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Gottman Method, EFT, psychodynamic therapy, or Imago Therapy
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with ethical and licensing standards
- Participate in case consultations and support the professional development of junior clinicians
- Stay updated with current research and best practices in psychotherapy and relationship counseling
- May contribute to program development, group therapy, or public workshops based on interest and need
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- At least 15 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a specialization in couples therapy
- Advanced training or certification in couples therapy approaches strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in managing high-conflict cases with empathy and cultural awareness
- Strong interpersonal communication, professionalism, and ethical integrity
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in clinical supervision or mentoring
- Background in conducting workshops, seminars, or professional trainings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
