Role Description
As a Child Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges in children and adolescents. You will collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare providers to design and implement effective treatment strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. This role is ideal for professionals committed to creating safe, nurturing environments that promote psychological growth and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations ● Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions ● Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals ● Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
● Maintain accurate documentation and case records
● Engage in parent training and psychoeducation sessions
● Support early intervention and inclusive learning practices
Qualifications
● Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Child Psychology
● Strong understanding of child development, behavioral therapies, and therapeutic techniques
● Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
● Prior clinical or school-based experience working with children preferred ● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
