Job Description:
The Keshav Desiraju IMHO is seeking a Research Assistant to support its work in creating an open-access repository of mental health laws, policies, and services in India. The role involves a combination of research, writing, and communication work.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct desk research, data extraction, and collate information on the mental health system in India
- Draft research outputs and publications such as annual reports, briefs, newsletters, and white papers
- Support communication and dissemination of research
- Develop and maintain the IMHO website and data platforms

Eligibility Criteria:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Public Health, Public Policy, or allied disciplines
- 1–2 years of work experience in mental health, public health, law and policy reform, social justice, or related fields
- Research experience in qualitative and quantitative methods
- Proficiency in academic and policy writing in English
Desirable:
- Master’s degree in related fields
- Experience in advocacy, communication, and network building
- Proficiency in Hindi (verbal and written)
