Overview:
Rainbow Children’s Hospital is inviting applications for the position of Behaviour Therapist at our Child Development Centre. The ideal candidate will have formal training in behavioral intervention and experience working in pediatric developmental care. This role requires conducting assessments, designing individualized intervention plans, and working closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to children with developmental and neurological needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Psychology or Master’s in Special Education
- Formal training in a recognized behavioral intervention model (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a pediatric unit (desirable)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of children with developmental and neurological concerns
- Design and implement individualized educational and therapeutic programs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including developmental pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and special educators
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to the clinical team and families
