Overview:
Ekya Schools and CMR Pre-University Colleges are seeking a dedicated and experienced Career and College Guidance (CCG) Program Coordinator. The CCG cell serves as a vital link between students, parents, teachers, and global universities, delivering personalized career counselling and overseeing the college planning and placement process. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, student development, and global university pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Counselling and Guidance (preferred)
  • Degree from top Indian institutes or global universities is a plus
  • Experience with counselling principles, techniques, and practices as applied to students’ developmental needs
  • Strong understanding of Indian and international education systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Tech-savvy, with a willingness to learn and use new tools
  • Willingness to travel across all CMR K–12 and Ekya campuses

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one counselling to students to explore interests, skills, and college/career goals
  • Guide students in portfolio building and college applications, including essays and interview skills
  • Interpret and analyze psychometric assessments
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops, university sessions, expert talks, and career camps across campuses
  • Build and maintain an information repository on colleges, courses, entrance exams, and scholarships
  • Liaise with universities globally and organize field trips, education fairs, and information sessions
  • Mentor staff in writing recommendation letters
  • Maintain updated dashboards and consolidate documentation for college applications
  • Maintain alumni and student tracking data
  • Design and deliver training workshops in career guidance
  • Report regularly to the College and Career Guidance Program Head on team progress
  • Support other daily and strategic responsibilities as required
