Remuneration: ₹75,000 – ₹80,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Job Description: 

They are seeking to urgently hire a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in quantitative research to support a project focused on Early Childhood Development (ECD). The position is based in New Delhi and will support the design, implementation, monitoring, and analysis of research and survey activities over a 6-month period in Meghalaya. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

● Support the design and implementation of field surveys related to early childhood development. 

● Lead or contribute significantly to quantitative data analysis, using statistical tools such as STATA, R, or SPSS. 

● Assist in developing and refining survey instruments and data collection protocols. 

● Monitor data quality during collection and conduct cleaning and validation. ● Contribute to report writing, presentations, and documentation of findings. ● Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. 

● Provide technical input into research dissemination efforts and stakeholder engagements as needed.

Eligibility Criteria: 

● Postgraduate degree in economics, statistics, demography, public health, development studies, or related field. 

● Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in research, field surveys, data collection, and quantitative analysis. 

● Must have working experience in field surveys, data collection, and quantitative analysis. 

● Working experience in Meghalaya and the North-East region will be an added advantage. 

● Strong proficiency in statistical software such as STATA, R, or SPSS. ● Demonstrated experience in managing or supporting large-scale data collection activities.

● Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. 

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting. ● Experience working on early childhood development or similar social sector issues will be an asset.
