Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director to lead our integrated Wellness Centreāa pioneering mental health facility dedicated to combining evidence-based psychological care with innovative technologies and holistic wellness approaches. This senior leadership position calls for someone capable of balancing clinical excellence, administrative strategy, and forward-thinking innovation to create a gold standard in mental health and wellness services.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of post-doctoral clinical experience, including progressive leadership roles
- Board certification or specialty credentials in Clinical/Health Psychology or relevant therapeutic domains
- Extensive supervisory, program development, and administrative experience
- Strong background in evidence-based practices, ethics, and interdisciplinary team leadership
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership and Vision Development
- Develop and implement strategic plans for service expansion, technological integration, and community engagement
- Translate emerging mental health trends into actionable innovations
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with academic, healthcare, and community institutions
2. Clinical Program Leadership and Quality Assurance
- Oversee all therapeutic programs, including individual, group, family, and assessment-based services
- Design population-specific interventions addressing trauma, relationships, workplace mental health, and more
- Integrate AI-enhanced assessment tools (e.g., compatibility/relationship evaluations) while maintaining ethical clinical standards
- Implement evaluation systems for outcome tracking, client feedback, and continuous improvement
3. Team Leadership and Professional Development
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of psychologists and wellness professionals
- Recruit, supervise, and mentor clinical and support staff
- Promote staff well-being, training, continuing education, and burnout prevention
- Maintain licensure-compliant supervision and uphold ethical standards across operations
4. Financial Management and Operational Oversight
- Create and manage budgets, pricing strategies, and sustainability plans
- Secure funding through grants, contracts, and partnership agreements
- Oversee compliance, accreditation, risk management, and operational efficiency
- Ensure all systems support effective and ethical clinical service delivery
5. Community Engagement and External Relations
- Represent the centre in academic, professional, and community forums
- Build outreach and prevention programs for underserved populations
- Advocate for mental health awareness and accessibility at a systems level
