Location: Integrated Offender Management (IOM) locations across Camden, Islington, Ealing, and Hounslow (onsite)
Job Description:
Together for Mental Wellbeing is seeking a Forensic Mental Health Practitioner to provide assessments and 1:1 psychologically informed interventions within the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) mental health service. This role focuses on delivering tailored support to persistent, repeat offenders in North London (Camden, Islington, Ealing, and Hounslow) who pose a medium or higher risk of violent reoffending. You will be part of a dedicated, multi-agency team aiming to reduce serious acquisitive and violent crime and improve the lives of individuals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mental Health Practitioner
● Qualification in Mental Health (e.g., mental health nurse, clinical/forensic psychology, psychotherapy) or equivalent experience (e.g., forensic psychology trainee working towards Stage 2)
● Experience delivering low-intensity psychological interventions
● Knowledge of assessments and interventions for vulnerable adults ● Experience working with high-risk clients exhibiting violent or challenging behaviour
● Familiarity with community or outreach settings, supporting complex needs
● Understanding of criminal justice, social care, housing, health, and voluntary sectors
● Experience with safeguarding, safety planning, and crisis management
● Excellent communication, decision-making, and collaboration skills ● Commitment to equal opportunities and diversity principles

● Experience designing and delivering training
Duration: Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £37,814 per year
