Details: “From The Class To The Couch” is a focused, 10-hour online practical bootcamp designed specifically for Master’s students in psychology or early-career therapists who are ready to move beyond theory and truly understand how to conduct real therapy sessions.
Led by Dr. Saniya Bedi, a seasoned therapist with over 10 years of experience, this bootcamp offers hands-on learning through roleplays, case studies, demos, and guided practice—no textbook lectures, no fluff. It’s all about what actually happens in the therapy room.
You’ll learn how to:
- Start strong with new clients through intake forms or discovery calls, and confidently lead your first session
- Stay present and deepen the work, including goal-setting and managing client dynamics
- Plan interventions based on specific client concerns and guide sessions with clarity and structure
- Handle challenges like alliance ruptures, resistance, difficult terminations, and ensure therapy is truly effective
