Job Description: As part of the Punjab Government’s initiative Yudh Nashean Virudh (YNV), this role offers hands-on experience in substance use prevention, mental health systems strengthening, and psychosocial intervention models. The Junior Program Associate will support training programs, stakeholder liaisoning, field-level execution, and reporting within a data-driven, multi-sectoral approach to combating substance abuse.

Location: Mohali, Punjab (with frequent travel to field sites across the state)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support planning and execution of capacity-building workshops and psychosocial programs
- Assist in developing training materials and conducting sessions for frontline workers and officials
- Draft regular reports to inform research and project evaluation
- Liaise with district/state officials and stakeholders for smooth program implementation
- Design and disseminate IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials
- Perform additional tasks as per evolving program needs
Duration: Contract-based role until 31st March 2026, extendable based on performance and project needs

Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in stakeholder management and liaison
- Prior exposure to work with NGOs, police departments, hospitals, or community stakeholders
- Ability to navigate a government-based work environment
- Proficiency in Punjabi preferred
- Freshers are encouraged to apply
