Job Summary:
The Student Advisor / Psychologist is responsible for supporting students’ emotional, social, and academic development. The role involves providing counseling, conducting sessions, and working closely with teachers, coordinators, and parents to build a safe and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide individual and group counseling for emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns
● Conduct wellness workshops, SEL activities, and mental health awareness programs ● Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement student support strategies ● Monitor and document student behavior, attendance, and academic progress ● Address peer issues, exam stress, motivation, and other psychosocial challenges ● Maintain confidentiality and student counseling records
● Facilitate positive behavior interventions and school wellness initiatives ● Act as a communication bridge between students, parents, and school staff
Qualifications and Experience:
● Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field (mandatory for psychologist role)
● 2–5 years of experience in school counseling or student advisory roles ● Prior experience in school settings preferred
● Familiarity with international school systems is a plus
